We are here to support you and your family by offering a variety of services and activities suitable for 0-5 year olds such as;

Universal Health Services

    - Well Baby Clinics (run by your local Health visitors/Community Nursery Nurses from Walton Health Team), Breastfeeding Support provided by a 

      qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor, Post natal groups, Midwives post natal clinics.

Play & Learns, Music & Movement Sessions

    - Suitable for 0-5 year olds.

    - Pre-crawlers for the very young.

    - Sessions held at the Children’s Centre, Walton Oak and other community venues.

    - Jitterbugs (singing and movement).

Access to information about local childcare, play and early learning, family support, back to work

    - FEET (Free Early Education for Two Year Olds) - advice on how to apply.

    - Expert advice, health care, parenting and family support.

    - Links to free training, courses and job opportunities.

    - Volunteering programme.


    - Parenting Puzzle, Boys will be Boys, Post natal groups, Baby massage, Freedom Programme, Transitions into Nursery and much more.

Christmas Closures

Friday 21st December to Friday 4th January 2019 - CLOSED

Services will return week starting Monday 7th January 2019 - new Spring 2019 timetable coming soon.

Friday 14th December 9.15 - 10.45am - Play & learn at Walton Children’s Centre

Tuesday 18th December 9.30 - 11.00am - Play & learn at Walton Oak School

1.30 - 3.00pm - Young Parents at Walton Children’s Centre

Wednesday 19th December 9.30 - 10.15am  & 10.30 - 11.15am - Jitterbugs at Walton Oak School

10.00 - 11.30am - Precrawlers at Walton Children’s Centre

Thursday 20th December 9.30 - 11.15am - Child health clinic at Walton Children’s Centre

  1. -Baby clinics from 6th December 2018 - This will now be called Child Health Drop-ins (0-5 year olds) and will be available every Thursday at Walton Children’s Centre, starting from Thursday 6th December (9.30-11.15).

  No booking required and you will also have the opportunity to get general health advice and support from the Health

  visiting team.

  Please note no clinic on Thursday 27th December or Thursday 3rd January.
