What’s On

We run services and activities 48 weeks of the year and are here during most of the holidays. There are some sessions that are only delivered during term-time only, and are open to families living within our reach area.

Midwives from St Peters Hospital carry out ante-natal checks at the Centre. By appointments only made by the Midwives.

 Jitterbugs is a singing and movement session and the aims of the session is to  
 promote Language & Communication skills, Social skills and Physical 
 development.

If you have not completed a Children’s Centre registration form, please ensure that you complete one at your first/next visit, as it also helps us to keep you up to date with what goes on at the Centre. Just ask a member of staff for a copy of our registration form.

Garden Open Play

Our Centre garden is open for free play for families living within the reach area, feel free to come and in and play in our garden. Just remember to sign in at the Children’s Centre Reception so that we know you’re here.

  yet crawling. All the resources are set up for very young babies, and

  you will have the chance to meet other local mums and their babies .

  English for EAL Families Course
  For parents/carers of children aged 0-5 years old. (Creche provided)

  This course will allow you to improve your English language skills as

  well as improving your ability to support your children’s learning. You 

  will also improve your understanding of education in the UK. Topics

  covered such as Bilingualism, Reading with children, Phonics, Writing

  development, Education in England including British values.

9.30 - 11.30am    FREE Legal advice on family matters and children with a specialist family law solicitor - by appointments only (see below note)

Access free legal advice on family matters with a specialist solicitor - Mandeep Gill (Venters Solicitors) who will be able to offer you legal advice on

family law matters such as domestic abuse cases, divorce, finances and cases involving social services/children’s services.
