What’s On

We run services and activities 48 weeks of the year and are here during most of the holidays. There are some sessions that are only delivered during term-time only, and are open to families living within our reach area.

 Jitterbugs (1-4 year olds) 
 At Walton Oak School, Ambleside Avenue, KT12 3LN  (Acorns Room)
 Jitterbugs is a singing and movement session and the aims of the session is to  
 promote Language & Communication skills, Social skills and Physical 
 development.  Please note: This session is not open to Childminders.

 Boys will be Boys - For Mums only with boys aged 2 years +

 This is a 4 week course that looks a range of topics and strategies to hopefully make life easier.

9.45-10.45am    Breastfeeding Support
At Walton Children’s Centre, Sandy Lane, Walton on Thames, KT12 2EQ
Have your baby weighed and measured by your local Walton Health visitor and Community Nursery Nurse at the Well Baby Clinic and also access Breastfeeding Support from a qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: BOOKING required, you will need to make an appointment with the Walton Health visitors on Tel: 01932 414149 to have your baby weighed/measured at the baby clinic at Walton Children’s Centre. No appointment required to access Breastfeeding Support and this is also available outside of clinic dates, please contact the Children’s Centre for further support.

If you have not completed a Children’s Centre registration form, please ensure that you complete one at your first/next visit, as it also helps us to keep you up to date with what goes on at the Centre. Just ask a member of staff for a copy of our registration form.

Garden Open Play

Our Centre garden is open for free play for families living within the reach area, feel free to come and in and play in our garden. Just remember to sign in at the Children’s Centre Reception so that we know you’re here.

Precrawlers

These sessions are only suitable for very young babies who are not

yet crawling. All the resources are set up for very young babies, and
