Over the 2 sessions, all the strokes for a full body massage will be demonstrated. Massaging your baby brings many benefits. It can soothe an uncomfortable, restless baby or it can be a time for applying emollient creams on a baby with dry skin. It can promote a feeling of wellbeing for the baby and the carer. Massaging your baby focuses on cues, both given to the baby and received from the baby. This can strengthen the connection between baby and carer, as early communication skills begin to form.
